Amelia + daddy on the train |
On Saturday we ventured out of the Bondi bubble, into the heart of the city.
Powerhouse Museum is oddly one of the only museums which seem to cater toward children. We took the train, which very much excited Amelia, but only after we were able to drag her out of the apartment at around noon. Luckily, the train we needed begins and ends under our apartment building.
When we finally made it downstairs, we hopped on the train and meandered toward the museum. We took somewhat of a roundabout way to get there, but in the end, it was well worth the detour. Both Eric and I were hungry and found a mall (fancy that... another mall!) on the way. I thought we could find something simple, but it turned out to be a primarily Asian market, in the heart of what I believe is China Town. Instead of food, we were treated to drummers and dancing dragons!

The dragon is upon us! |

It's a good thing you can't hear this one. |

This way, dragon! |

They're coming back! Cover your ears!!! |
The downside to this was the decibel level inside of the mall was almost deafening!
