Sunday night special

Westfield Bondi Junction Escalators
Bondi Junction mall
Sunday night. Nothing special really. Pasta with leftover hamburger cut into little pieces and thrown into the sauce (from a jar). Green beans added for a little fiber.

Our Sunday night special was to go out to... the mall! Fancy that! I've been at least 2-3 times a day, every day since we got here. Tonight, we tried a new grocery store, Woolworths (I don't know if it's the same thing as in the states) just to mix things up. It felt more comfortable the Coles, which is gigantic and somehow just a little too bright. Woolworths felt more like an American grocery store without having very many American brands. It's much smaller than Coles and will probably become my regular store of choice.

The three of us walked there after dinner, went in a different way. Ooooo! A different way! I bought some bubbly water while Amelia and Eric hung out at the cow chairs. I will say this, the mall is pretty classy. The furniture is furniture I wish I could afford. High back 50's style chairs with cow hair on the back. I could do without that, but the style is great. There are elegant and fun sculptures throughout and interesting lighting fixtures.

Our way out led us down the escalator and through yet another entryway. I am amazed at how many doors this place has. I probably will have gone through every one by the time our stay here is over.

Looking up at some of the cool sculptures
